Working with the Kliewer brothers is always a good time, and this project was no exception. Getting the design locked in, shop drawings complete and signed off went fairly smooth. The fabrication and installation was a little tricky considering the space was relatively finished thus requiring a somewhat gentle touch. Once installed and finished treads were on, we were able to measure for the glass. Being that we prefer not to template, rather measure everything by hand, it was a challenging measure to say the least-there’s a lot of edges, gaps and reveals that need to line up perfectly. With a great deal of skill and some luck we completed this staircase and everyone was quite thrilled with the way it turned out.
